The practice for Stroking Me Softly is one of my favorite...Affirmations!
Receiver: What kind of affirmations would you like to receive? What do you want to feel? Is there anything you are working on? For example, feeling safe in your body, feeling worthy, feeling desirable, etc.
Giver: Use what the receiver gives you and turn it in to affirmations to work with in your play. For example, if the receiver says, "I want to feel safe in my body", you could say things like "You are safer than your have ever been before." "I am holding your body with such tenderness. You are safe with me. You are safe in my love."
